Lugano Automations ("LPIP") is a private, self-hosted automation system operated by Lugano for personal and household use. It is not offered to the public.
With the account owner's explicit consent, LPIP uses Google OAuth to access the owner's own Gmail accounts in order to (a) read and search messages from approved senders (for example school communications) and (b) send notification emails to the owner. It does not access any other person's Google account.
Data is used only to provide these personal automations: summarising and recording relevant messages, sending the owner alerts, and checking whether an alert was sent. LPIP's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Google user data is not sold, not used for advertising, and not shared with third parties, except the processors needed to run the owner's own automations under the owner's control (the self-hosted server and the owner's own connected accounts).
OAuth tokens are stored encrypted in the self-hosted automation server. Derived records (such as alert references and summaries) are kept only as long as needed for the owner's personal use and are deleted on request. Access to the server is restricted to the owner.
Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
